Weston’s final run set a new track record at 55.61, leading to an emotional celebration with teammate Marcus Wyatt and the Team GB coaches.
This victory marked a significant achievement for Weston, who finished 15th in the previous Winter Olympics. On the other hand, Wyatt improved but secured a seventh-place finish with a total time of 3:45.77.
