A zookeeper in Uzbekistan tragically recorded his final moments before being attacked and consumed by three lions. The man, identified as F. Iriskulov, was attempting to secure the escaped animals back into their enclosure at the Lion Park in Parkent, Uzbekistan, during his night shift. In a chilling video filmed in 2024, the keeper can be seen approaching the lions, initially appearing calm before the predators suddenly turned aggressive.
Despite the keeper’s attempts to calm the lions, one of them eventually latched onto his arm, leading to a fatal outcome. When other zoo staff arrived the next morning, they discovered Iriskulov’s remains in the lion enclosure, with two lions tranquilized and one shot dead after the attack.
This incident echoes a similar tragedy at Safari World in Thailand, where a zookeeper was attacked and killed by lions in front of horrified onlookers. Witnesses recounted how the lions pounced on the keeper as he exited his vehicle, with the attack only ceasing when zoo officials intervened with firearms. Unfortunately, the victim did not survive the brutal assault.
