Virgin Media customers in the UK are receiving a complimentary upgrade through a new service called Smart Support. This service provides round-the-clock assistance to ensure smooth operations year-round. Smart Support automatically monitors broadband performance and promptly addresses speed or connectivity issues to provide immediate solutions for users. Additionally, remote fixes and upgrades are conducted overnight to minimize disruptions during the day. Customers may also receive recommendations for WiFi Pod or Hub upgrades to enhance whole-home coverage. Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, Gareth Lister, emphasized the importance of fast and reliable connectivity, stating that Smart Support aims to keep customers connected effectively. The service is being rolled out to all Virgin Media customers at no extra charge.
