“Tyson Fury Eyes Joshua Showdown Amid Comeback Plans”

Tyson Fury has unveiled the three fighters he aims to face upon his boxing comeback, with a potential clash against Anthony Joshua in the mix.

The former champion had previously announced his retirement following losses to Oleksandr Usyk but has since reversed his decision. Fury, 37, has been intensifying his training regime and is currently honing his skills in Thailand in preparation for his imminent return to the ring.

Training alongside WBC bridgerweight champion Kevin Lerena, Fury has been vocal about his desire to face Usyk for a third time after their latest bout in December 2024. Additionally, he is eyeing potential matchups with Joshua and Fabio Wardley, as indicated by a recent Instagram post where he stared down the trio of heavyweight rivals.

While talks of a trilogy fight with Usyk seem uncertain, with Usyk’s camp suggesting the rivalry is concluded, fans are eagerly anticipating a showdown between Fury and Joshua. However, Joshua’s future is now uncertain following a tragic car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two close friends.

Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, has hinted that a Fury-Joshua bout may not materialize until late 2026, if at all, considering the recent events. Warren expressed uncertainty about the fighters’ future plans post-accident, highlighting the emotional toll the tragedy may have on Joshua.
