Samsung has unveiled three new models of the Galaxy S26 series, with the standout feature being the Privacy Display on the S26 Ultra. This innovative feature ensures that content on the screen is only visible when viewed directly. The Privacy Display can be customized to block specific apps or notifications, enhancing privacy in various scenarios.
Samsung emphasized that the Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces the industry’s first built-in Privacy Display, revolutionizing privacy protection on smartphones by controlling pixel light dispersion. This technology maintains content clarity for the user while restricting visibility to others.
In addition to the Privacy Display, the Galaxy S26 Ultra boasts a sleek design, extended battery life, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. Rapid charging capabilities allow the device to reach 75% battery in just 30 minutes.
The device also features an upgraded quad rear camera for improved low-light photography and enhanced video stabilization with Super Steady capabilities. The inclusion of an S Pen allows users to write notes directly on the 6.9-inch AMOLED screen.
Accompanying the S26 Ultra are the standard S26 and the larger S26 Plus models, both equipped with Samsung’s Exynos chip and triple-lens rear cameras.
Samsung has enhanced the smart features of all new Galaxy smartphones with a Galaxy AI upgrade, introducing functions like Now Nudge, which offers useful suggestions to users without causing distractions.
The Galaxy S26 range is priced as follows in the UK:
– S26: 256GB £879, 512GB £1,049
