Samsung has officially announced that the latest Galaxy S smartphones will be revealed later this month at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The company will host this annual showcase in San Francisco on February 25.
During the event, Samsung is expected to introduce the new Galaxy S26 series, which includes the standard S26, the S26 Plus, and the S26 Ultra. The Galaxy Unpacked event will be live-streamed on the Samsung website starting at 6pm GMT for those interested in watching it as it happens.
For early birds, Samsung is offering incentives to fans who register their interest in advance. By signing up on their website, fans can receive a £30 voucher to use on Galaxy ecosystem products, double storage when pre-ordering a new phone, and a chance to win one of 10 £500 Samsung vouchers.
Samsung revealed that the new smartphones are designed with integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features to simplify daily tasks. The company emphasized that the new Galaxy S series represents a significant advancement in the era of AI.
As the launch date approaches, retailers are reducing prices on the current Galaxy S25 range to make room for the upcoming models. Sky Mobile, for instance, has lowered the monthly cost of the S25 Ultra from £43 to £31, saving customers £432. However, this deal requires a 36-month commitment and comes with a 100MB data allowance, which may necessitate additional data purchases.
Customers can also take advantage of discounts at Amazon, where they can save 20% on the standard S25 and S25 Ultra models when purchasing outright. Select models are now priced at £639.20 and £999.20, respectively, down from their original prices. This offer is available until February 24 or while stocks last.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will be broadcast live on Samsung.com on February 25 at 6pm. Interested fans can register for the event on the Samsung website.
