Darts prodigy Luke Littler has expressed confidence in the potential of Angry Ginge, a participant on the reality show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here,” to do well in the jungle. Littler, a close friend of the online personality Morgan Burtwistle, hinted at the idea of a future trip to Australia.
A devoted Manchester United supporter and streamer, Burtwistle landed in Brisbane earlier this week in preparation for the show’s kick-off on November 16. The odds currently favor Burtwistle to emerge as the jungle king in the upcoming series.
Meanwhile, Littler secured a spot in the knockout rounds of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton after defeating Daryl Gurney 5-1 during his title defense. As he awaits his next opponent in the competition, he also anticipates the commencement of the jungle adventure down under.
In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler shared his belief that Angry Ginge, aged 23, will excel in the challenging jungle environment. He mentioned, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known him for a very long time. We’ll have to vote for him and see what challenges he faces.”
Although Littler could be a strong contender for future seasons of the show, negotiations with TV executives might be necessary to secure his participation due to his rising prominence in the world of darts. When questioned about the possibility of joining the jungle adventure, Littler responded, “Perhaps… If the offer is right. I might consider a temporary stay.”
Angry Ginge touched down in Australia on Monday to a warm reception from fans and media ahead of the show’s launch. Despite admitting to missing his cherished Manchester United and his mother, the 23-year-old humorously mentioned his camping experience from a school expedition, adding, “I did a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award at school so I am not too bad at camping.”
Expressing concerns about Australia’s wildlife, he humorously noted, “One of the reasons I vowed to never go to Australia was because of the spiders and animals so I am hoping the hotel is secure.”
In a YouTube announcement confirming his participation in the reality TV show, Angry Ginge expressed his hope for Manchester United’s success during his absence, aiming for the team to maintain a strong position in the league upon his return in early December. He quipped, “Hello there. If you are seeing this, I have officially been announced that I am going in the jungle. That’s what I’m praying for. I’m hoping I come out, Man Utd are second in the league and going for the title… Arsenal are dropping points.”
