Additionally, Asda has announced a special promotion for January, giving shoppers 10% cashback in Asda Rewards Cashpot on all fresh produce purchases made in-store.

Following a challenging Christmas period where Asda’s market share dropped to 11.4%, the supermarket saw a 4.2% decline in sales, marking its 22nd consecutive month of decrease. In contrast, Tesco and Sainsbury’s experienced growth in customer numbers, further solidifying their positions ahead of Asda in the UK market.
In response to the competitive landscape, Tesco recently unveiled a new Everyday Low Prices campaign, vowing to maintain affordable pricing on 3,000 branded products.
