To raise awareness about this change, BT has launched a campaign led by Clare Balding called ‘Don’t Put Off the Switch.’ The initiative aims to encourage homeowners to prepare for the switch to Digital Voice by ensuring their landline systems are ready for the transition.
Despite the shift to Digital Voice, customers can expect to retain their existing phone numbers with no anticipated increase in costs. Most households will simply need to connect their phones to their broadband hubs, eliminating the need for engineer visits in most cases. However, some exceptions may require customers to contact their service providers for assistance.
