“WWE Star Chris Benoit’s Disturbing Final Message Resurfaces”

A haunting final communication from WWE star Chris Benoit has reemerged almost twenty years following one of wrestling’s most tragic incidents. Back in June 2007, Benoit, a prominent figure in WWE at the time, committed the heinous act of killing his wife Nancy and their young son Daniel before taking his own life at their residence in Fayetteville, Georgia.

The brutal murders stunned the global community and had a lasting impact on the world of professional wrestling. Leading up to the discovery of the killings, Benoit sent a series of disturbing messages to his close friend and fellow wrestler Chavo Guerrero. Among these messages was a chilling voicemail to another acquaintance, hinting at ominous events unfolding at his home.

Concern escalated when Benoit failed to show up at a scheduled WWE pay-per-view event. Subsequently, a welfare check was initiated, leading to the grim discovery of the bodies of Benoit, Nancy, and Daniel on June 25, 2007. Investigations revealed that the murders took place over a three-day period, with Nancy being strangled first, followed by the sedation and suffocation of Daniel. Benoit tragically ended his own life by hanging himself using gym equipment in his basement.

At the time of his death at the age of 40, Benoit was highly regarded as one of the most technically skilled wrestlers of his era. Just three years prior, he had celebrated a championship victory at WrestleMania 20 alongside his wife and son.

A postmortem examination of Benoit’s brain indicated severe damage consistent with advanced chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative condition associated with repeated head injuries. Medical experts likened his brain to that of a person with advanced Alzheimer’s disease.

Despite WWE airing a controversial tribute episode immediately after his death, the company swiftly distanced itself from Benoit once the truth came to light. His name is seldom mentioned in WWE broadcasts, he is notably absent from the Hall of Fame, and his legacy is forever overshadowed by his atrocious deeds.
