“Sky TV Revamps Cinema Channels for Enhanced Viewing”

Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in the TV planner starting April 30 as the telecoms and TV company has announced a revamp of its Cinema channel lineup. Sky Cinema Animation on channel 312 has been merged into Sky Cinema Family, consolidating family-friendly films on channel 304. This move aims to simplify the viewing experience by bringing all content together in one place.

Despite the consolidation, no content is being removed; it is simply being combined under a single channel. Viewers can still enjoy beloved titles like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, How to Train Your Dragon, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Wicked on the newly unified channel.

Sky assures customers that all content previously available on Sky Cinema Animation will continue to be accessible through Sky Cinema Family. Additionally, Sky Cinema Animation will make a temporary return during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5, ensuring entertainment for kids when they are not in school.
