Barry Manilow Beats Lung Cancer, Adds New Tour Dates

Barry Manilow, the iconic 82-year-old musician, has encouraged his fans to bid farewell following his recent battle with lung cancer. The singer revealed his cancer diagnosis last month, leading to the postponement of several shows on his ongoing The Last Last Concert tour for surgery and recovery. However, Barry’s management team has now confirmed his return to the stage with the addition of six new concert dates to his schedule.

In an Instagram statement, Barry’s team announced the surprise addition of shows in Charlotte, Norfolk, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Nashville, and Lexington for March. Despite the excitement among fans, some expressed concerns about the timing of his return post-surgery, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing his health.

Nevertheless, many supporters hailed Barry’s resilience, with one fan referring to him as an “Iron man.” The news of his quick recovery comes shortly after Barry shared a positive update from his hospital bed, showcasing a smiling selfie with the caption “Better today.”
