“ITV Unveils New Broadcasting Team for 2026 Darts Season”

ITV has unveiled a revamped broadcasting team for 2026 as part of a new agreement with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Luke Littler, the reigning world champion, is set to make his comeback after a remarkable triumph at Ally Pally.

In anticipation of the upcoming coverage, ITV has outlined its programming lineup following the recent three-year deal with the PDC. The channel will showcase matches from various prestigious events, including the World Masters, UK Open, World Series of Darts Finals, European Championship, Players Championship Finals, and global World Series of Darts tournaments.

Pete Graves and Gabbie Partington from Sky Sports will lead the broadcast as hosts, with Partington diving straight into action with the upcoming World Series of Darts events in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The new ITV punditry team features renowned figures such as Wayne Mardle, a five-time World Championship semi-finalist, and former Premier League champion Glen Durrant, among others.

Additionally, former PDC star Mark Webster and ex-World Matchplay semi-finalist Chris Mason will join the punditry team, while the commentary lineup will see Dan Dawson teaming up with talkSPORT commentator Mark Wilson, alongside the iconic broadcaster Ian Danter.

Reflecting on the extended partnership, PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter expressed delight at the continued collaboration with ITV, emphasizing the importance of providing free-to-air coverage of popular darts events to UK audiences. Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the network’s commitment to expanding and extending live darts coverage for UK viewers.

Darts enthusiasts can look forward to the Bahrain Darts Masters commencing soon, featuring exciting matchups including Stephen Bunting defending his title against Ryusei Azemoto and Luke Littler facing off against Paul Lim in the opening round.

As part of its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle, Sky has enhanced its offerings to include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+, and Hayu, along with 135 channels and comprehensive coverage of the Premier League, EFL, Formula 1, darts, and golf. With over 1,400 live matches across multiple sports, including at least 215 from the Premier League, Sky continues to be a premier destination for sports enthusiasts.
