The Cold Weather Payments for the 2025/26 season have recently commenced, offering £25 each time the temperature in your area remains at zero degrees or lower for seven consecutive days.
If your region experiences multiple periods of freezing weather throughout the winter, you may receive several Cold Weather Payments. The issuance of Cold Weather Payments is overseen by the DWP.
To be eligible, individuals must be receiving specific benefits such as Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, or Income-related Employment and Support Allowance.
