The government will provide freelancing training to educated unemployed and job-seeking young men and women across all 64 districts of Bangladesh. The training is being offered under the project titled “Employment Creation through Freelancing Training for Educated Job-Seeking Youth in 64 Districts.”
The Department of Youth Development (DYD) has published the admission notice for the eighth batch of the three-month training programme. E-Learning and Earning Limited is conducting the training programme across the country. The eighth batch of the training will run from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
The three-month programme will consist of eight hours of classes each day, with a total of 600 hours of training. Participants will not be required to pay any training fee.
Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent examination and must be between 18 and 35 years of age. Job-seeking young men and women from all districts of the country can apply online. Preference will be given to candidates with basic knowledge of ICT or computers and proficiency in English.
A five-member admission committee, headed by the Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Development in the respective district and including a representative of the District Administration, will select trainees through written and oral examinations.
Representatives nominated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the headquarters of the Department of Youth Development will also participate in the selection process through field-level supervision.
Trainees will receive a daily travel allowance of Tk 200 during the training period. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks will also be provided each day. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive certificates. They will also receive mentoring support after the training to help them increase their income and engage in income-generating activities.
Interested candidates must apply online through the designated website. After successfully submitting the application, applicants must download and keep a copy of the application form. Eligible applicants will be informed of the date and time of the selection examinations via SMS. They must download, print and bring the admit card to the examination venue as instructed in the SMS.
The deadline for online applications is September 15, 2026, at 11:59 pm. The written examination for eligible applicants will be held on September 19, followed by the oral examination on September 20.
The list of finally selected candidates and examination results will be published on September 23. Information regarding the examination venue, schedule and results will be communicated via SMS. The application link will automatically close after the deadline, and no further applications will be accepted.
