The daughter of a cannibal shared her enduring love for her father, known as “The Skara Cannibal,” despite his disturbing actions. Jamie-Lee Arrow described her childhood home as resembling a scene from a horror movie due to the events surrounding her father, Isakin Drabbad, who murdered and consumed parts of his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, in 2010.
Following the murder, Drabbad was convicted of the crime and committed to a mental health facility in 2011. However, in 2020, he became an outpatient and was provided with a residence in Sweden. Jamie-Lee recounted that her father and his girlfriend initially appeared content together, but their relationship deteriorated to the point where Helle warned her about Drabbad’s intentions to harm her.
The tragic events leading to Helle’s death involved a violent altercation between her and Drabbad while Jamie-Lee and other children were present. The situation escalated until Drabbad fatally attacked Helle on November 12, 2010, by stabbing her, decapitating her, and cooking parts of her body.
Despite the horrifying circumstances, Jamie-Lee expressed love for her father, acknowledging the complexity of familial bonds. She emphasized her commitment to providing her children with love and safety, shielding them from the darkness that marked her upbringing.
Reflecting on her past, Jamie-Lee revealed details of her unsettling childhood, including her father’s fascination with dark themes and his attempts to introduce her to occult practices. Despite the traumatic experiences, she affirmed her enduring affection for her father, while maintaining a firm boundary between his actions and her own beliefs.
