Noel Gallagher has expressed his interest in portraying a villain in the upcoming James Bond film and is open to writing the next Bond song if given the opportunity. The 58-year-old Oasis musician emphasized that the track for the next movie should be performed by a British artist. Gallagher mentioned that he would gladly consider the offer if Barbara Broccoli approached him, stating that it would be an honor for Oasis to be involved.
Despite rumors suggesting that Oasis was a top choice for Amazon, Gallagher confirmed that he has not been formally approached. However, during a TalkSport interview with Andy Goldstein, he humorously mentioned his willingness to play a “Mancunian villain” in the movie.
Having previously shown interest in creating a Bond theme, Gallagher revealed that he had written potential songs with a Bond-like feel. Reflecting on his compositions, he believed that one of his tracks could serve as a great Bond theme.
