“Influencer with Criminal Husband Plans Expansion”

An online influencer, who amassed a large following by showcasing her life with her wealthy criminal husband and their 22 children, has recently reappeared on social media with a surprising announcement.

Kristina Ozturk, aged 27, is married to businessman Galip Ozturk, who was released from prison in July after serving two years of an eight-year sentence related to drug offenses. Galip had previously faced a life sentence in Istanbul for allegedly orchestrating the murder of an employee named Kuvvet Köseoğlu in 1996.

Originally from the Ayvacık district of Samsun, born in 1965, Galip fled Turkey in 2018 after his life sentence was upheld. He is known as the founder of Metro Tourism, a prominent intercity passenger transportation company in Turkey.

Kristina has now expressed her intention to expand their already large family with more children alongside her husband, despite the controversies surrounding him. The couple had enlisted surrogates between March 2020 and July 2021, investing £133,000 ($180,000) to welcome a total of 22 children into their blended family.

Notably, a majority of their children were born within a short span of just over a year. Despite this, the Ozturk couple has openly discussed their aspiration to have over 100 children in total.

In an interview, Kristina revealed that her desire for a large family dates back to her childhood, and her husband shared the same dream. They embarked on their surrogacy journey to fulfill this shared vision, with the support of a surrogacy clinic to realize their dream of a big, happy family.

While acknowledging the assistance they receive from nannies, Kristina emphasized that she actively fulfills all maternal responsibilities, adapting to the challenges that come with managing a large family. The couple has decided to postpone further surrogacy efforts until their current children are older.

Galip, who faced legal troubles in 2023 related to drug possession, was recently released from prison under supervised conditions. To commemorate his return, Kristina organized a grand celebration at their residence in Batumi, where their love story began.

Turkish media outlets reported that Galip, the former fugitive businessman, had been granted supervised release after fleeing to Georgia to evade his life sentence for a past murder case in Turkey.
