Tesco has announced a special offer for Clubcard members in December, where they will earn two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. This promotion applies to all third-party gift cards purchased at Tesco stores throughout the month.
Clubcard members can benefit from double points when purchasing any gift card from Tesco, not limited to Tesco gift cards. The bonus points will be automatically credited to their Clubcard account.
Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the value of the offer, stating that by earning two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, customers can give thoughtful gifts while also receiving rewards for themselves.
Tesco has approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various purchases. Each £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, every two liters of fuel bought at Tesco petrol stations, Tesco Mobile expenses, Tesco credit card transactions, and Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card usage all earn Clubcard points. A minimum of 150 points is required to redeem a Clubcard voucher, which is equivalent to £1.50 to be used at Tesco.
This offer comes following bargain hunter Jordon Cox’s revelation of a “secret code” at Tesco that indicates when a deal is about to expire. Jordon, known as the Coupon King on ITV’s This Morning, shared tips on how to interpret the expiration date of Clubcard Price promotions using a six-digit number found on items.
