“Dell Reverses Decision, Relaunches XPS Lineup at CES 2026”

Dell has reversed its decision from a year ago to discontinue the XPS brand, following criticism from tech experts and customers. The company has acknowledged its mistake and reintroduced the XPS lineup with a promise of an enhanced experience.

The new Windows 11 laptops under the XPS brand have undergone a complete redesign, featuring premium materials like aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3 for durability and a sophisticated look. The laptops boast a fresh design with the XPS logo prominently displayed, along with improvements in portability, weight reduction, and thickness.

Key upgrades include a redesigned keyboard for stability, a seamless glass touchpad, and a slimmer profile, making the XPS 14 and XPS 16 Dell’s thinnest laptops yet. Performance has been significantly enhanced with Intel’s latest Ultra processors, delivering faster speeds, better graphics performance, and improved efficiency.

The inclusion of Intel Arc graphics with 12 cores promises a 50% performance boost over previous generations, while the high-density 900ED cells offer up to 27 hours of battery life on a single charge. Other notable features include edge-to-edge touch displays, Dolby Atmos speakers, and a variety of ports for connectivity.

Dell introduced the new XPS 14 and XPS 16 models at CES 2026, emphasizing their premium design, powerful performance, stunning displays, and long battery life in a compact and portable package. The company aims to uphold the XPS legacy as a benchmark for high-end laptops, catering to users seeking top-tier features and mobility.
