In 2025, Apple Music, now accessible on both iOS and Android platforms, experienced its most successful year to date, setting new records in terms of listenership and new subscribers. The platform introduced several updates last year, including features like Lyrics Translation and AutoMix, designed to enhance the user experience.
Furthermore, Apple TV witnessed a significant increase in engagement, with users spending 36% more time streaming shows like Slow Horses and The Studio in December compared to the previous year. The platform expanded its content library by adding more shows and movies, such as the F1 film starring Brad Pitt and the highly-rated drama Pluribus.
The App Store also saw considerable success, attracting over 850 million average weekly users globally. During the period between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, the platform experienced a record number of visitors, leading to a surge in customer spending on digital goods and services.
Apple Podcasts also had a stellar year, achieving record listenership, plays, and subscriber numbers. Additionally, Apple made enhancements to its services, including expanding Apple Fitness+ availability to more regions and introducing over 50 new games to Apple Arcade.
Moreover, Apple extended its Share Item Location feature in Find My to 27 additional airlines, improving luggage tracking and reducing lost items significantly. Apple Maps expanded its Detailed City Experience to include new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, offering users 3D landmarks and custom experiences like the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.
