A new record-breaking roller coaster, Falcons Flight, has been unveiled at the Six Flags resort in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia. This towering steel roller coaster surpasses Big Ben in height, standing at an impressive 195m and reaching speeds of up to 155mph. The resort is part of the Qiddiya City development that is set to attract millions of visitors each year.
In addition to Falcons Flight, the resort features various attractions like a custom-built Formula One track, a Dragon Ball theme park, and a water park. Six Flags, known for its theme parks in America, was the first major attraction to open in the city.
Manufactured by Intamin, construction of Falcons Flight began in April 2023, with the final section installed in December 2024. The roller coaster has been hailed as the tallest, fastest, and longest in the world, surpassing the previous records set by Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Parks in Ohio.
YouTube creator Shawn Sanbrooke, from the Themepark Worldwide channel, shared his exhilarating experience riding Falcons Flight. He described the ride as “absolutely incredible” and expressed his awe at the breathtaking views from the top. Shawn emphasized the significance of this new attraction for thrill-seekers.
Apart from Falcons Flight, the Six Flags resort boasts other record-breaking rides like the Sirocco Tower, Gyrospin, Iron Rattler, and Spitfire roller coasters. Former theme park employee Shawn was amazed by the park’s offerings, calling it a surreal experience.
