“Apple Launches MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5”

Apple has recently unveiled new products in its MacBook and iPad series shortly after the launch of the iPhone 17. The tech giant introduced the MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5 on October 22, both equipped with Apple’s latest M5 chip for enhanced speed and performance, including significant AI improvements. These devices are now available for purchase directly from Apple and Amazon.

The MacBook Pro M5 512GB starts at Ā£1,599, while the 11ā€ iPad Pro 256GB and 13ā€ iPad Pro 256GB are priced at Ā£999 and Ā£1,299, respectively. Apple’s Pro range is known for its top-tier quality and power, prompting many consumers to explore monthly payment options from providers like Sky Mobile and O2 to manage the costs effectively, starting as low as 90p per day.

Sky offers competitive pricing starting from Ā£27 for the 11ā€ iPad Pro M5, with the 13ā€ model priced at Ā£34, albeit with a limited 100MB data allowance. Customers can opt for a cost-effective MacBook Pro M5 plan from Sky at Ā£35 with a Ā£7 upfront fee. These plans cater to users primarily on WiFi but offer an upgrade option to include a Sky eSIM for mobile data access.

EE provides flexible payment options for the iPad Pro models, with the 11ā€ version available for Ā£89.92 on a 12-month plan plus Ā£120 upfront, similar to the upfront purchase cost. Shoppers can spread the cost over 3 to 48 months, with monthly payments starting at Ā£31.86. The 13ā€ iPad Pro M5 costs Ā£112.42 plus Ā£120 upfront on the 12-month plan, excluding mobile data.

O2 offers pre-built plans for both iPad Pro M5 models, starting at Ā£39.20 per month plus Ā£20 upfront for the 11ā€ variant on a 1GB Classic Plan. The larger 13ā€ iPad Pro M5 is priced at Ā£45.60 per month and Ā£20 upfront on the 1GB Classic Plan. These plans also include O2 Extras, such as Disney+ or Amazon Prime, free for up to six months.

Contracts with these providers typically run for 48 months, separating the airtime plan (data allowance) and the device plan after 24 months. Customers have the flexibility to keep, modify, or cancel the airtime plan after 24 months, potentially reducing costs for those not requiring mobile data.
