Morrisons is distributing more than 27 tonnes of carrots for customers to offer to Rudolph and his companions. Shoppers can claim a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” selection from December 20 until Christmas Eve, subject to availability. These carrots may vary slightly in shape or size.
Chris Smith, the Root Veg Senior Trader at Morrisons, expressed, “Christmas embodies spreading joy and cheer, so we are thrilled to provide our young customers with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and his friends on Christmas Eve. Our Naturally Wonky range supports British farmers, minimizes waste, and offers customers a cost-effective option that remains delicious.”
This initiative coincides with various prominent UK supermarkets reducing the prices of Christmas vegetables to just 5p, encompassing potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. The complete list of discounted Christmas vegetables can be found below.
